About

HEAR IT FROM ME

I believe you must bring your whole self to the table if you want to thrive in today’s crazy world; your personality, a healthy sense of self worth, and most importantly, your faith. All of these elements brought me to found My Charmed Life back in 2010. I was a new mom in a new state and wanted to carve out a place and space for me and my new experiences. Since then, I've continued to blog and express my faith and share my calling. As a career journalist for over 20 years, talking to people and sharing myself has always come naturally, and it's simply what I enjoy doing.  More than that, talking to people about my life and who God created me to be is a part of my PURPOSE. I have been back in the newsroom as an anchor/reporter and out again.  In this new chapter, I am spreading joy and love, sharing my faith and prayerfully helping others walk in their purpose.  I invite you to browse my site and learn about my programs and passions. LET'S TALK!

MY CHARMED LIFE...LIVING IT AS GOD INTENDED

Purpose Talk With Lenita

Who are we?  We are God's Beloved! Are we good enough? Are we smart enough; pretty enough; physically fit enough; spiritual enough?  YES...we are more than enough because of Christ.  What am I supposed to be doing with this life?  YOU WERE CREATED FOR A PURPOSE!  Between the self-doubt, comparison to others and our inability to wholly and completely trust God, we often find ourselves questioning who we are and why we're here which leads to unhappiness and discontent. God wants soooo much more for you, and I want to help you get to a place of Purpose and Joy through conversations and a hard look within.  Let's Talk!

WHAT ON EARTH AM I DOING HERE

We all struggle with Purpose...believing we have one, figuring out what it is, and ultimately walking in it.
Jeremiah 29:11 says "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  I want to help you realize your PURPOSE and help you manifest God's truest and most loving desire for your life.  Let's Talk!

"I AM" STATEMENTS...WHO DO YOU SAY YOU ARE

In today's technological world, we see "hashtags" everywhere as a representation of who we are and what we are doing.  It's a trendy way of talking about our "I AM" statements.  The way we speak about ourselves says a lot about how we live our lives and to what extent we believe we are God's BELOVED.  In the Gospel of John, Jesus used "I AM" statements 7 times.  He was clear about who He was and what He was on earth to do.  You can be, too.  LET'S TALK!

GOD CALLS ME HIS "BELOVED"

Instead of looking at the fashions, walk out into the fields and look at the wildflowers. They never primp or shop, but have you ever seen color and design quite like it? The ten best-dressed men and women in the country look shabby alongside them.
“If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don’t you think he’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you?  Matthew 6:28-30.  God loves you so...you are His BELOVED.  LET'S TALK!
